This week I have been basking in what God is doing for me. I have had the song "What a Friend we have in Jesus" going through my mind all this week. I really have been pondering what the words to this song really say. Do we really believe what we are singing about. the verse where it says we should never be discouraged take it too the Lord in prayer. I have had many discouragements in my life, right now is time for me to let God have them and take it to Him. Always taking it to Him first and letting God take all my burdens and discouragements. This song has become one of my favorite. Life still isn't perfect but its all in His hands. He will be that friend and take care of me. He will be your friend and be there for you too. Please let him do that for you also.

I am really enjoying my flowers. I chose a cottage theme this year. I am beginning to like it more than primitive. I still love all my old pots though.

Geraniums are one of my favorite flowers. I also planted thyme in with them. My porch smells so good when you walk by.

Since our house is for sale, everything I planted is in pots this year so I can take them with me when we move. 

We have had one person look at it and another one this coming week. I also took a picture of my kitchen window. It is above my sink. I like to look out it and watch the birds while I do dishes. I also think it looks so simple and still. I need stillness in my life to stop and think about God. I will be posting some post in the future of different topics. I feel the Lord is giving me some things to post about. I don't have them all together yet but hopefully I will get them done. We are finishing up our school year. Only three weeks till they will have completed there work. I love summer and am looking forward to what it will bring. Even if it includes a move. 

I bought these roses at a store on sale. I dried them and put them in this pitcher. I also thought it would look nice to have them on the scales. It makes our house look homey to those who look at it. 

Spring time is one of my favorite seasons. I love how things are blooming and are so new. This Spring time I have done so evaluation in my own life. I have begun to change how I view things. I have made many changes. I am trying to be more healthy and exercise. And eat better. And being a better Christian. My husband has put our house up for sale again. He said he feels like this is what we need to do. I get very unsettled when this happens. I have many worries that go though my mind. I do not like people I don't know coming in my house when I'm not here. I hope this time is the last time we do this. I am really trying to be calm and not worry. We really are stable people just what to do God's will. We have tried out at some churches for my husband to pastor. But so far none of them have worked out. Some have never called us back at all one did but just wasn't the right place. We will see what happens in the future.

 Just a little post about what we have been doing. My oldest daughter is making scarfs to make money to buy her a new camera. Here is the ones she has done so far. She has already sold these too. I really am happy she is doing jobs at home. That is what I am teaching her to do. She has chosen photography and making things. It makes this Mom really happy. She crocheted these on our trip to Kentucky. I am thankful the Lord watched over us on our trip. we had a wheel bering go out and the wheel was really loose, but God protected us and we made it there. The church where we went was very kind to us and helped us fix it. There was a guy who knew how to do it that went to church there and fixed it for free. And since we had just had a new one put on before we left home, the store gave us a new one for free. So God was good to us. The guy who fixed it before we left home said the one he put on must have been bad.  I also was able to buy this mirror. I am slowly changing my house to add more Scripture.I am buying it when things go on sale. I am really loving Dayspring things. They are really nice. this week we will be staying home and hopefully working in our yard. It has been really nice here. I love Spring. everything is so new.

 Saterday we went and took some pictures of our family for a flyer we are on for a concert. Here are a few of them. We take our own with a tripod and camera. It does pretty well. We also have a photo shop to fix them. We have fun.

Hope everyone has a nice day. We are enjoying being inside today. We got a lot of snow. It is really beautiful outside. I am ready to be out planting flowers though.

I have been working on a few things here. I recently bought letters to spell redeemed. Well they were too big for my mantle. So I was in Hobby Lobby and found these smaller letters for .50 and I bought them. I think it looks much better. 

This wood thing used to be on my stove. Well I got tired of moving it all the time( cause I cook all day). So I decided to make a sign out of it. This is one of my favorite songs.

I know you can't see this song but this is my favorite one of all. Come Thou Fount. Our family has been sick again this month, but we are doing better. We also went on a field trip to the Creation Museum. We were able to go with passes from my brothers friend. We had a really fun time. We also went to a store called Jungle Jim's. It was so big and had food you could buy from all over the world. I also have been making herbal things for us to use. One of them is hairspray. I am really liking it. I have also made tinctures and facial stuff for us. I am hoping to do more. I really love learning about herbs and their uses. We are also in the mist of some big decisions for our lives right now. We have been ask to consider pastoring again, And so far there have been 5 churches asking us to consider for them. It is a big decision and ask for prayers from my blog friends. We will be visiting each one of them the next month. And one this Sunday. We want God's will. He has led us so much these past months and I know he is going to show us the right move to make.

I made this sign from a saying I got at dollar tree and a piece of board I already had. This week has been a better week for our family. Everyone has been well. We have been staying in where its warm. I will say I will be glad when Spring gets here. My boys are getting cabin fever. They love being outside. They do play out some but when they do they get colds. So its difficult. I am thankful that God allows me to stay home and teach my children. I do enjoy it.  Her are a few pictures from my house this week.
